Jashanmal signs with 4SPOTS IT for Kiosk Application

Jashanmal has signed 4SPOTS IT to come up with a kiosk system for their 'Jashanmal Bookshop' franchise.

The kiosk system is proposed to enable a Jashanmal Bookstore customer to browse through the available titles in the bookstore and find out the physical location of the book. In addition to finding out about available titles, the kiosk system lets the consumer browse through the new titles in store, special deals, etc. "This system is a step towards the vision of using IT to enhance the shopping experience of the Jashanmal customer", says Jashanmal IT head, Dubai, Mr. Dilip.

According to research conducted, the current time spend by an average shopper to find a pre-decided book is 10.3 mins. 4SPOTS IT is working with Jashanmal to reduce the time to under 2 mins. Says 4SPOTS Account Manager, Mr.Anand Sivakumar, "4SPOTS is currently exploring how this model can be used towards increasing the value add for the Jashanmal customer. The kiosk will be easy to use, visually appealing and more importantly will make shopping a bit more fun for the shopper."

This kiosk system is planned currently for Jashanmal, Sharjah. However, we can hope to find this system in Bahrain soon, since it is being planned to be replicated in 20 destinations across GCC.
